Vuelta a España 2026, Brennan vince a Lorca

La formazione Visma | Lease a Bike ha gestito con grande precisione gli ultimi chilometri. Wout van Aert, in maglia verde, ha pilotato il compagno fino alle fasi decisive, consentendo a Brennan di lanciare lo sprint nel momento più favorevole.

Il corridore britannico, classe 2005 e originario di Darlington, ha sprigionato tutta la propria potenza negli ultimi 100 metri. L’accelerazione si è rivelata imprendibile per gli avversari e gli ha permesso di ottenere il terzo successo alla Vuelta a España 2026, dopo le vittorie nella seconda e nella quinta frazione.

Per Brennan si tratta della ventiduesima vittoria in carriera. Bryan Coquard della Cofidis ha chiuso al secondo posto, mentre Jordi Meeus della Red Bull – BORA – hansgrohe ha completato il podio. Magnus Cort è arrivato quarto, davanti a un Wout van Aert apparso ancora una volta competitivo e in crescita di condizione.
