Omrzel conquista la Vuelta a España 2026: sua la tappa di oggi sul traguardo di Calar Alto

Jakob Omrzel conquista la dodicesima tappa della Vuelta a España 2026, imponendosi al termine dei 166,6 chilometri tra Vera e Calar Alto. Lo sloveno della Bahrain-Victorious piazza l’attacco decisivo a circa dodici chilometri dalla conclusione e centra il primo successo della carriera tra i professionisti.

Jakob Omrzel vince la dodicesima tappa della Vuelta a España

Il vincitore del Giro NextGen 2025 si inserisce nella fuga di giornata e riesce a portare a termine l’azione in solitaria. Omrzel taglia il traguardo con il tempo di 4:29:53, precedendo di 1’56” Urko Berrade dell’Equipo Kern Pharma.

Il terzo posto va al colombiano Santiago Buitrago, compagno di squadra del vincitore, arrivato a 2’13”. La quarta posizione è occupata dal kazako Alexey Lutsenko, staccato di 2’49”. Mauri Vansevenant conclude quinto a 2’53”, mentre la parte alta dell’ordine di arrivo comprende anche Felix Gall, Enric Mas, Primož Roglič, Richard Carapaz e Gregor Mühlberger.

Enric Mas conserva la maglia rossa

Enric Mas, indicato come leader della classifica generale, conclude la frazione in settima posizione. Il corridore della Movistar Team chiude a 3’23” da Omrzel secondo l’ordine ufficiale della tappa e mantiene la maglia rossa.

Alle sue spalle figurano Primož Roglič e Richard Carapaz, entrambi classificati con lo stesso tempo di Felix Gall, sesto al traguardo. La top ten viene completata da Gregor Mühlberger della Decathlon CMA CGM Team, decimo a 3’50”.
