Dopo una breve sezione di collegamento, il percorso avrebbe condotto alla salita conclusiva verso Font Romeu, inserita tra le ascese di seconda categoria. L’ultima difficoltà era lunga 9,9 chilometri, con una pendenza media compresa tra il 4,9% e il 5%.
